Stone Creek Farm

This home was thoughtfully designed with family and entertaining at its heart. Our goal was to create a welcoming space that could comfortably host large gatherings while maintaining a cozy and approachable feel. Nestled on a family farm passed down through generations, the design pays homage to its roots with a modern farmhouse aesthetic. Simple shapes and classic gables define the structure, while the exterior features over-grouted stone, cedar, and burnt black siding, echoing the natural materials and timeless charm of the surrounding landscape. At the back of the home, floor-to-ceiling glass connects the indoor living areas with the outdoors, creating a harmonious flow. The site features a gentle slope, which wasn’t quite steep enough for a walkout basement. Instead, we designed a sunken patio to create a cozy, secondary outdoor entertaining space.
